Hi there, let’s chat about all things Chinese Medicine.
When I began my journey at Pacific College of Health and Science, I knew very little about alternatives to the western medicine paradigm. What I did know, from years of owning a barre3 fitness studio and instructing barre classes, was that the movement of energy, in any capacity, was necessary to maintain a healthy and happy life. Years later, I am convinced the path to improving our collective health is to focus on those days when we feel slightly off – a little more tired than normal, an increase of stress or anxiety, a nagging neck cramp. Chinese medicine is a powerful tool to remind our bodies how to recalibrate when we get knocked out of balance. In encouraging a return to homeostasis, we can actively deflect or delay the onset of major dis-ease. This is the power of preventive care and the path to cultivating vitality.
In addition to her Traditional Chinese Medicine education from Pacific College of Health and Science, Robin has completed a classical chinese medicine mentorship with ann cecil-sterman and is able to practice the complete teachings of the complement channels of acupuncture in alignment with their intention. this advanced study allows for the reversal of chronic conditions and the limitless potency of acupuncture.
Robin has advanced studies in Ikeda Masakazu Sensei’s Japanese Meridian Therapy through the High Desert Hari Society as well as mentored training in the Worsley Institute’s Five Element Acupuncture.
Robin has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. A native of San Diego, she has had careers in investment management and corporate retail operations and has owned a children’s clothing design and manufacturing company based in Bali, Indonesia, a barre3 fitness studio in Corvallis, Oregon, a vintage auto part online business and an environmental consulting firm specializing in marine biological studies.
My Approach
PREVENTION IS WELLNESS
Our clients feel strongly about expanding both lifespan and health span through preventive care. Our clients share a vested interest and investment in strengthening mind, body + spirit through active lifestyles, importance of diet, and openness to learning and trying different approaches to managing health. Everwell plays an integral role in a regular schedule of wellness.
MOTIVATION TO ROCK THE CURRENT WELLNESS SYSTEM
It is time to shift cultural norms and place a larger emphasis on preventive care. In doing so, we address the epidemic of chronic disease. If we can prevent one incidence of cancer, one person from dying of heart disease or diabetes and address the growing prevalence of dementia by educating people to listen when the body, mind, spirit feel slightly off, we can thwart the need for further medical intervention (pharmaceuticals/ invasive surgeries) and help people live healthier and happier lives, full of vitality.
CONSISTENT EDUCATION AND EXPERTISE
We love learning, and operate from a space of integrated modalities: traditional chinese medicine, classic chinese evidence-based medicine, japanese acupuncture and five element acupuncture styles. Our clients receive a highly individualized approach to diagnostics and treatment, benefitting from a wide spectrum of information that has been funneled and distilled to the specific and unique alchemy of our very own everwell approach.
INTEGRATED PARTNERSHIPS
We offer a wide variety of healing modalities and herbal remedies to complement the treatment experience; we prioritize partnerships with other complementary medicine practitioners who offer different approaches toward healing. Our members’ long-term comfort wins over all, leaving every visit as a more renewed version of themselves.
